Embracing Change: Rebranding from Sunny Mary Meadow Podcast to Flower Farmer Forum
Jul 31, 2024Today, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about a significant transformation happening here at the farm. As many of you know, change can be both exhilarating and daunting, but it's often necessary for growth. I am excited to announced the rebranding of my podcast from the Sunny Mary Meadow Podcast to Flower Farmer Forum. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and I want to take you through the journey, my initial hesitations, and the vision for this new chapter.
Changing the name of a podcast or business is a strategic move that aligns better with our focus and goals. When I started the Sunny Mary Meadow Podcast, my primary aim was to share the beauty and joy of flower farming. However, as the podcast evolved, I realized there was so much more to discuss, especially the business aspects of running a flower farm. The name "Flower Farmer Forum" reflects this broader scope, emphasizing both the agricultural and entrepreneurial sides of my journey.
Initially, I was hesitant. Sunny Mary Meadow had become a recognizable name, and I worried about losing that brand identity. But after much reflection and encouragement from my community, I knew this change was necessary to fully encompass the topics I am passionate about—flower farming and business strategies.
I did think about changing the name of the podcast to Peddling Perishable Products, as that is the core course that I have established my coaching business on, but looking ahead to what is planned and the other aspects of the coaching business, it made more sense to go with Flower Farmer Forum, which is also the name of the in-person conference I put on for flower farmers in the winter. It is an event that brings flower farmers together to grow in their network and knowledge of the industry, and that really aligns with the podcast overall.
Rebranding to Flower Farmer Forum marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. It’s a reflection of our commitment to not only share the beauty of flowers but also provide valuable insights into the business of flower farming. I’m excited about the future and grateful for your continued support as we embark on this journey together. Here’s to blooming and growing in every sense of the word!
